Berlin Oktoberfest 2025

Get ready for a day of family fun, fantastic food, and flowing brews at the Oktoberfest in Berlin MD celebration on October 18th, from 11 AM to 4 PM! This year’s event promises an authentic German experience with a local twist, featuring live music, unique vendors, and a wide selection of craft beers from the Eastern Shore and Maryland.  This is the first year you can buy a cool commemorative stainless steel mugs IN ADVANCE.  Cost is only $30 and includes 2 beers.  There are less than 100 left so BUY NOW to secure one for yourself!

Beer Tickets!

You will be able to buy beer tickets at the Shore Craft Beer tent the day of the event starting at 11 am.  You can use cash OR CREDIT CARDS at the Shore Craft Beer/ Town of Berlin tents at the corner of Main and Pitts (in the street.)  

There will also be ticket sales stations on Pitts Street near the ESD trailer and on Main Street near the 2 big white beer trailers.  These are CASH ONLY:  $6 for one ticket, $5 each for $2 or more tickets.

IF YOU LOOK 35 OR YOUNGER

You MUST HAVE A VALID ID and you MUST GET YOUR ID CHECKED AND YOUR HAND STAMPED before you can get a beer.  There are security guards to check your IDs at the Beer tent at the corner of Pitts and Main S

MAP – Main & Pitts Streets Closed Down for Fun

The Town of Berlin is going all out for their Berlin Oktoberfest hosted by the Town of Berlin Main Street, the Town of Berlin, Shore Craft Beer and Destination Growth Partners.  The streets are closed for your safety and enjoyment.  There is a sidewalk sale going on along Main Street and beer stations will line North Main Street and Pitt Street.  The Petting Farm will be located on Commerce Stand and German music by the Edelweiss Band and The Dunehounds will fill the town from two stages located on N Main Street and Pitt Street.   

Music to Your Ears

Enjoy live music throughout the day on two stages! Tap your feet to traditional German tunes by the Edelweiss Band and popular tunes by the DuneHounds that will keep the festive atmosphere alive.

The DuneHounds will be playing in front of Sterling Tavern on North Main Street.  The Edelweiss Ban will be playing on the stage on Pitts Street. (check the map)

Shop ‘Til You Drop

Stroll through downtown Berlin and discover treasures at the Sidewalk Sale! Local businesses will offer incredible deals and unique finds. It’s the perfect opportunity to support local shops and snag some early holiday gifts.

This year’s Oktoberfest boasts a wide variety of local craft beers, ensuring there’s something for every palate.

• ESD Trailer on Pitt Street
  • EVO – Lot 3, American IPA, 6.8 ABV, 65 IBU
    • This American style IPA is aggressively hopped at a rate of over 2 lbs. per barrel. Big notes of citrus and pine complement a reserved but firm malt backbone.

• • EVO – ‘Bury Beer, Lager American Light, 4.2% ABV, 
    • Light lager with hints of Seagull Spirit released for Salisbury University school year
  • EVO – Jacques au Lantern Pumpkin Ale, 6.3% ABV, 20 IBU
    • Our fall seasonal is an unfiltered amber ale brewed with pumpkin and spices. We add roasted pumpkin to the mash and traditional pumpkin pie spices to the kettle, and then ferment with a Belgian yeast strain.
  • EVO – Tea-ki Torch Hard Tea, 5% ABV, N/A IBU
    • Lightly carbonated and built on a combination of Earl Grey and Black Tea flavors with a slight sweetness and refreshing finish.

  • Dogfish Head – World Wide Stout, 18% ABV, 70 IBU
    • Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex. This ageable ale clocks in at 15-20% ABV and has a depth more in line with a fine port than with a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer.
  • Calvert Brewing – Route 4 IPA (WILL POUR AFTER WORLD WIDE STOUT IS GONE), 6.5% ABV, 76 IBU
    • Dedicated to one of Maryland’s first major highways. This balanced IPA is restrained and easy to drink thanks to the fruity aroma and caramel malt that balances out the hop bitterness. Hops: Simcoe, Centennial, Amarillo
  • Fin City – Black Fin IPA, 6% ABV, N/A IBU
    • A full-bodied black IPA brewed with pale and mild roasted malts and citrus hop blend. A well-balanced roasty-sweet backbone and a smooth finish with delicious citric hoppiness.
  • Fin City – Pure Lure Pilsner, 4% ABV, 18 IBU
  • Big Oyster – Hammerhead IPA, 6.4% ABV, 30 IBU
    • Our flagship brew, is an unfiltered, West Coast style IPA brewed with six hop varietals (Citra, Centennial, Cascade, Colombus, Mosaic, Amarillo). These various hop additions give our IPA both subtle and refreshing pine aroma and tropical fruit flavors with a hint of grapefruit. It’s a hop forward experience without an overpowering bitterness.
  • Cape May Brewing – Orange Crushin’ It, American IPA, 8% ABV, 15 IBU
    • Refreshing and great for the beach, Crushin’ It is soon to be your summer staple. With Citra, Mosaic, and Azacca hops blending together to accentuate the fresh flavors of orange juice, Crushin’ It is dry, approachable, and perfectly balanced
  • Heavy Seas – Loose Cannon, IPA American, 7.2% ABV, 45 IBU, 
    • Our flagship beer, Loose Cannon wins people over at first smell. The carefully cultivated interplay of Simcoe, Palisade, and Centennial creates a most fragrant IPA—its nose bursts with notes of grapefruit, herbs, and pine. Bitterness is somewhat subdued by the floral quality that pervades the taste. The color is burnished gold, and the mouthfeel is creamy. A strong malt backbone balances out the triple-hopped beer. Its nickname, Hop3, comes from the brewing process: our brewers hop Loose Cannon in the boil, the hopback, and the fermenter. It won a second place CAMRA award at the 2010 Great British Beer Festival

    • Original. OG. King of Hard Teas (you said it, not us). This is the one that got us started. Made from real brewed tea and natural lemon flavor, Twisted Tea Original is refreshing, smooth, and of course, a little twisted. Great for sharing with friends too, but if you want to keep this 12 pack for yourself, we don’t blame you.
  • Truly Wild Berry – Hard Seltzer, 5% ABV, N/A IBU
    • Naturally sweet flavors of juicy California strawberries, raspberries & Marion blackberries.
  • Angry Orchard Crisp Apple – hard cider, 5% ABV
    • A crisp and refreshing cider, its fresh apple aroma and slightly sweet, ripe apple flavor make it hard to resist.
  • Dogfish Head 30 Minute Light IPA (session IPA), 4% ABV, 30 IBU
    • Satisfying hop character and just 95 calories … that can’t be possible. Oh, but it is! After years of R&D and tweaking the recipe to incorporate continual hopping, 30 Minute Light IPA is officially here!! This true indie craft beer has all the character of a world class IPA, but with only 95 calories, 3.6g carbs, 1g protein and 0g fat per 12oz serving. Seriously.The little sibling of 60 Minute, 90 Minute and 120 Minute IPAs has officially been born. We continually hopped this brew for 30 minutes to get a less bitter, more aromatic & easier drinking Light IPA. It’s hoppy, crisp, and crushable!​
  • Dogfish Head Punkin Ale,. Pumpkin/Yam beer, 7% ABV, 28 IBU
    • A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. We brew our Punkin Ale with pumpkin meat, brown sugar and spices. As the season cools, this is the perfect beer to warm up with
  • Sam Adams Octoberfest, Märzen, 5.3% ABV, 16 IBU
    • In 1810, the Oktoberfest tradition was born when Munich celebrated the Crown Prince’s wedding with a special beer and 16 day party. Our version of this classic style blends rich malts for a hearty, smooth flavor with notes of caramel creating a brew that’s perfect for the season, or whatever you’re celebrating.

      • Our house IPA! Shine is everyone’s reliable best friend… if your best friend was a hoppy beer. Dry hopped with Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Motueka.
