Be sure to check out Ocean City’s first brewery, and co-star of the upcoming beer documentary, “Blood, Sweat, and Beer,” Backshore Brewing Co. Located at 10th St and the Boardwalk, Backshore offers some of the best craft beer in Ocean City, and, with a front seat to the Atlantic Ocean, one of the best views of any brewery anywhere.
Heading out of town on Route 50, you’ll find the Fin City Brewing Co. located in the rafters of Hooper’s Crab House. Stop by to taste Ocean City’s original microbrew, or grab a six pack at your favorite beer store.
Some of the area’s best local brew can also be found on your way to Ocean City along Route 50. Burley Oak Brewing Co. in Berlin has been rated world-class by Beer Advocate and is known for creative beers that push the envelope.
Just up the road in Salisbury is the Evolution Craft Brewing Co., which has emerged as one of the premier breweries in the region over the past few years.
