When you are trying to decide whether to take your dog with you on your Ocean City family vacation, weighing the costs of boarding with the convenience of having your pet along isn’t too difficult a choice. Finding pet friendly hotels in Ocean City is as easy as performing a search on our hotels page or just searching below.
Ocean City Dog Playground – OceanCity.com
If you’re bringing your dog to Ocean City, you’ll want to make sure they have just as much fun on vacation as you do. The dog playground on 94th street is the only outdoor area within town limits where dogs are allowed off-leash on public property, and it’s also the only dog park within a 25-mile radius.
Places that allow pets in Ocean City
Pets are permitted on the beach or Boardwalk between October 1st and April 30th, but not permitted during the summer season. Pets are allowed in the Assateague National Seashore Park (although not on State Park beaches) year round. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and the owner/handler is responsible for removing any waste from public or private property. If you’re traveling to Ocean City in season and want to let your pet stretch its legs, the Ocean City Dog Playground is located at Little Salisbury Park on 94th St. For information call Ocean City Recreation & Parks at 410-250-0125.

Boarding your pet in Ocean City
If you can’t find rooms in one of the various Ocean City hotels that allow pets, or if you chose a rental that doesn’t allow pets but want your dog to join you during the day on your vacation, there are several kennels in the area that will board your pet.
