Celebrate the 4th of July in Ocean City!
The Fourth of July is all about American traditions like freedom, family, friends, and fireworks. As an American, you have the freedom to assemble your family and friends in Ocean City, Maryland for July 4th celebrations to make your holiday vacation memorable. July 4th and Ocean City are synonymous with each other, so every year the town goes above and beyond to give guests an extraordinary experience by hosting several Fourth of July celebrations. If you’re downtown, the action all takes place at the Caroline Street Stage and if you’re uptown, Northside Park is where you want to be. Sundaes in the Park has fireworks on Sundays both before and after the 4th (on Thursday this year.) This event takes place at Northside Park. Both town celebrations are free to attend, but remember to bring a chair or blanket and get there early to grab a great spot. Whether you choose to commemorate our nation’s birthday by lounging in the sun, splashing in the surf, boating on the bay, cooking out, eating crabs, shopping on the boardwalk, or bar hopping, Ocean City offers all the attractions and amenities you need for a star spangled celebration that will make our Founding Fathers proud.
