Top 5 Tips for Online Video Production

By our very own videographer, William Strang-Moya.

    1. Be original. Always look for a unique approach into telling your story and marketing not only the subject, but your style as a content creator.
    2. Observe the subject. Often a story is placed before you, and it is your duty to funnel this story into a motion picture narrative for a broader audience. The person behind the camera should not impose a narrative, but allow the subjects to tell their own story through your medium.
    3. Be versatile. Adapting to change can do wonders for a narrative. When faced with a challenge, one must use adversity as an opportunity to experiment. Visual storytellers must always be willing to learn.
    4. Show up on time.
    5. The best camera to have is the one you have. Cheesy? Yes. Very. But this sums up all of my tips. Work with what you have, you can only get better.
