FSK: Family Resort in Ocean City
Everything you need to know about the Francis Scott Key Family Resort in Ocean City, Maryland is in its name. A cozy feeling motel with several large buildings as well as cottages which offers the perfect environment for a family vacation in a resort town. The hotel was built by the Hastings family in 1953. In 1972 Kenny Baker bought the property with a partner and then he purchased his partner’s share to become the sole owner in 1978. Now run by his daughter, Anne Marie Dickerson, and her family, the Francis Scott Key harkens back to an older era of resort experiences and good, old-fashioned customer service.

Indoor and Outdoor Pools, Miniature Golf, Pirate Ships, and a Shuttle to the Beach
The Caribbean Key indoor pool with an activity area for children gives your family a nice place to relax and cool off and the outside pool will keep your kids entertained while enjoying the summer weather. Many local families find the indoor pool the perfect place to host birthday parties, but forget about November and December because the pool is closed. Usually the pool opens at 10 am on the weekends and later during the week. The Caribbean Key pool is also closed at times during the off-season so be sure to check before you go. You can have pizzas delivered directly to the pool area.
Shipwreck Cove is the outdoor pool complete with pool bar. there is a dinghy themed hot tub as well as a pirate ship with seating and lounge chairs.
Peg Leg Putt Putt sticks with the pirate theme. Located next to Shipwreck Cove, this 9 hole outdoor mini-golf course is open year round, depending on the weather.
