Vote Integrity & Fraud Prevention
To ensure a fair and accurate voting process, OceanCity.com reserves the right to review, audit, remove, or disqualify any votes or participants at its sole discretion.
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in vote removal, contestant disqualification, and/or a permanent ban from current and future contests:
- Ballot stuffing or artificial vote inflation
- Use of bots, scripts, macros, automated software, or other automated voting methods
- Use of VPNs, proxy servers, residential proxy networks, rotating IP services, or similar technologies intended to disguise or manipulate voter identity or location
- Purchased votes, click farms, vote exchanges, incentive-based voting schemes, or third-party vote generation services
- Creation or use of fake accounts, disposable email addresses, or fraudulent identities
- Coordinated efforts intended to manipulate contest results
- Any activity that results in abnormal, suspicious, non-organic, or fraudulent voting patterns
OceanCity.com reserves the right to invalidate any votes originating from suspicious sources, including but not limited to foreign countries, proxy networks, data centers, anonymization services, or other sources deemed inconsistent with legitimate voter participation.
All decisions regarding vote validity, participant eligibility, and contest results shall be final.
