West Ocean City is the area west of the Route 50 bridge into Ocean City.  It is growing – FAST.  There is a new boardwalk that connects some of the new housing areas, the Tanger Outlet, and the many restaurants and shops in this area.  Water dominates West Ocean City.  There are several marinas, the working harbor, the busiest boat ramp in Worcester County, and several waterfront parks.  Several of the boating tours leave from West Ocean City too.
