Get ready to see hundreds of Jeeps taking over the beach! Ocean City Jeep Fest returns August 27-30, 2026, bringing Jeep lovers from near and far to town for an annual pilgrimage that is part 4x4 expo, part beach adventure and one giant celebration of Jeep culture. Ocean City Jeep Fest official website
This isn't your typical car show. Jeep Fest is a gathering and experience all in one, giving Jeep owners the chance to show off their rides, hit the sand, shop for upgrades and spend four days enjoying Ocean City with fellow Jeep enthusiasts.
Start Your Morning With a Jeep Parade on the Beach
One of the most eye-catching parts of Jeep Fest happens early each morning. Beginning around 7:30 a.m., Jeeps line up for the famous Beach Crawl, heading north from the Ocean City Inlet toward 30th Street. With up to 400 Jeeps expected, it's a pretty spectacular way to start the day. Imagine looking down the beach and seeing a convoy of Jeeps cruising along the sand as the sun comes up over the Atlantic. The official 2026 schedule lists staging beginning at 6:45 a.m., with the Beach Crawl running approximately 7:45-9:15 a.m. Make sure you register online if you'd like to participate. Slots are going quick.
The Convention Center Becomes Jeep Central
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, the Roland E. Powell Convention Center will be packed with everything Jeep. The indoor 4x4 expo and Vendor Village will feature Jeep parts, accessories, services and plenty of opportunities to upgrade your ride. Looking for new tires? Want a sound system? Thinking about taking your Jeep build to the next level? Vendors will be on hand with everything from wheels and tires to audio systems and installations. There's also a Show & Shine, where some of the area's most customized Jeeps will be on display, along with an indoor vintage Jeep display, merchandise and other Jeep-themed attractions. The official event site says the Convention Center portion is open to the public.
Ready to Get Your Jeep Dirty?
Jeep Fest isn't all about admiring the vehicles — you can actually put yours to the test. A custom-built sand course gives participants a chance to tackle a closed-off sandy playground designed specifically for Jeeps. It's built for fun, with the organizers describing it more like a roller coaster ride on four wheels than a hardcore off-road challenge. The course features multiple shifts throughout the day, giving registered participants plenty of opportunities to get behind the wheel and experience the sand without being overcrowded.
And Then the Sun Goes Down...
The Jeep Fest fun doesn't stop when the Convention Center closes. Thursday night brings an evening party at Seacrets, complete with a movie and slideshow looking back at Jeep Fest parties from years past. Friday heads to The Farm in West Ocean City, while Saturday brings the party to Ocean Pines Beach Club. And if you thought the Jeeps couldn't get any brighter, think again.
The weekend also features an LED light show, with Jeeps lighting up the night around the Convention Center. The official schedule lists Maryland's Jeep Club LED Light Show Friday night, followed by additional evening Jeep activities throughout the weekend.
An Annual Ocean City Pilgrimage for Jeep Lovers
For Jeep owners, Jeep Fest has become an annual trip to the beach — a chance to meet other enthusiasts, check out some seriously impressive builds, shop for new gear and, of course, get a little sand between the tires. Whether you're rolling into town with a brand-new Wrangler, a vintage Jeep or a fully customized 4x4, Ocean City Jeep Fest is all about the Jeep community and the experience that comes with it.
Day passes and event registration are available online, while the Convention Center expo offers an opportunity for the public to come check out the action even without participating in the driving events.
So mark the calendar for August 27-30. Ocean City is about to get a whole lot more Jeepy — and if you hear engines early in the morning, look toward the beach. There just might be a few hundred Jeeps headed your way.
