Day 3 Brings Exciting Fish to the Scales: Huk Big FIsh Classic's Final Day

The scales at Talbot Street were buzzing Sunday afternoon as the final day of the 2026 Huk Big Fish Classic wrapped up in Ocean City. After a windy start to the tournament kept many boats at the dock on Day 1, calmer seas over the weekend allowed crews to take full advantage of their 32-hour fishing window. With it being the last chance to get fish to the scales, spectators packed the weigh-in to watch boats return from offshore and see who would claim the tournament's top prizes.

Winners Summary

In the Basic Entry – Division A, MJ's secured first place with an impressive 187-pound bigeye tuna, earning the team $15,000. Reel Estate finished second with a 92-pound yellowfin tuna worth $3,500, while El Jefe rounded out the top three with an 86.5-pound bluefin tuna, collecting $1,500.

The Big Fish Classic – Division B featured several payout categories, with MJ's continuing its dominant tournament by taking first place in both the B1 and B2 divisions with its 187-pound bigeye. In the winner-take-all B3 category, El Jefe captured the top prize of $35,100 with its 86.5-pound bluefin tuna.

In the Talbot Street Stringer – Division C, MJ's also claimed the top spot with an impressive 392-pound stringer, earning more than $17,000 across multiple stringer divisions. Little Limits finished second with a 284.5-pound stringer, while Instigator took third with 275.5 pounds.

The Billfish Division belonged to Godzilla, which swept the leaderboard with a 72-pound white marlin. The team claimed first place in both the D1 and D2 categories while also taking top honors in the swordfish division, making it one of the tournament's standout performances.

Women in Fishing

A new addition to this year's tournament also crowned its first champion. The Ladies White Marlin Release category made its debut at the Huk Big Fish Classic, with High Yield taking home top honors. The new division gave female anglers their own spotlight and added another exciting layer to an already action-packed weekend.
