When you think of Baja Amusements, chances are the first thing that comes to mind is go-karts. And while Baja has earned its reputation as one of Ocean City's top ranked racing destinations, there's so much more waiting beyond the starting line.
From the Starting Line

Since 1981, Baja Amusements has been a place where families, friends, and even first dates have made lasting vacation memories. What started as a go-kart destination has grown into a 10-acre family entertainment park featuring eight unique go-kart tracks, mini golf, bumper cars, climbing walls, kiddie rides, an expanded arcade, and classic snack bar favorites.
Creating Special Memories

What makes Baja special isn't just the attractions—it's the moments they create. "Families come back year after year," the team shared. "Kids who were once riding with their parents are now bringing their own children." Whether you're planning a family outing, celebrating a birthday, gathering friends for a race night, or simply looking for something fun after a day at the beach, Baja has something for nearly every age.
Eight Tracks, Endless Competition

Go-karts remain the park's biggest attraction, and for good reason. With eight different tracks, guests can choose an experience that matches their age and thrill level.
First-time drivers can build confidence on beginner-friendly family tracks, while experienced racers can put their skills to the test on favorites like Road Racer, featuring sweeping banked turns, or Slick Track, where drifting around the oval is all part of the fun.
One of the park's best features is its double-seat go-karts, where passengers ride free. That means a child with a wristband can ride alongside Mom or Dad without purchasing an additional ticket, making it easy for families to enjoy the experience together.
More Than Just Go-Karts

While racing steals the spotlight, Baja offers plenty of attractions for guests looking to slow the pace. Challenge your family to a round of mini golf, complete with a scenic gazebo overlooking the waterfall, or test your skills on one of the park's 24-foot and 32-foot climbing walls. Spin Zone bumper cars continue to be a guest favorite, bringing smiles to kids and adults alike, while the arcade and kiddie rides round out a full day of entertainment.
Many first-time visitors are surprised by just how much there is to do. "A lot of families come in with one attraction in mind and end up spending more time here than they expected."
New This Season

Baja has also introduced several guest-friendly updates this year.
A new tap card and wristband system allows guests to load points onto reusable cards, making it easier than ever to jump between attractions. Time-based wristbands don't begin until you tap into your first ride, giving families the flexibility to settle in before the clock starts. Night owls can also take advantage of a late-night wristband special, offering discounted admission later in the evening while still providing plenty of time to race under the lights.
Better at Baja

Some of Baja's favorite memories don't happen on the track—they happen afterward. The friendly debates over who crossed the finish line first. The rematch requests. Parents watching their child drive a go-kart for the very first time. Teenagers putting their phones away long enough to challenge Mom or Dad to one more race. Those are the moments that have kept Baja Amusements a family tradition for more than four decades.
Take Aways

So, if you're looking for an Ocean City activity that combines a little friendly competition with a whole lot of family fun, head to Baja Amusements. Whether you're racing around the track, conquering the climbing wall, or lining up for "just one more" round of bumper cars, one thing is certain—you'll quickly understand why their motto says it best: Better at Baja.
