Better Weather Brings Bigger Action on Day 2 of the Huk Big Fish Classic

After a windy opening day kept much of the fleet at the dock, Mother Nature finally cooperated on Day 2 of the 2026 Huk Big Fish Classic. The wind laid down overnight, giving anglers much more favorable offshore conditions and bringing plenty more boats back to the scales at Talbot Street.

Leading the Pack

Leading the way in the Basic A & B Division is Reel Estate, whose impressive 92-pound yellowfin tuna now sits atop the leaderboard. Husevo holds second place with an 84.5-pound bluefin tuna, while Turn Me Loose rounds out the top three with a 75.5-pound bluefin tuna.

In the B2 Division, El Jefe jumped into first place with a 73-pound bluefin tuna, earning an estimated $18,000 payday. Little Limits sits in second with a 71.5-pound bluefin, currently worth approximately $7,000. Restless Lady rounds out the top three in the B2 category with a 70.5-pound dolphin.

Biting Billfish

On the billfish side, Ro Sham Bo currently leads the White Marlin Release category and is projected to take home around $7,000.

One category that remains completely up for grabs is the Ladies White Marlin Release Division. With one final day of fishing remaining, there's still plenty of opportunity for a female angler to make a run at the leaderboard. Come on, ladies—I'm rooting for you!
