  1. I agree, the date for Sunfest is too late in the season. I attended Oceans Calling and had a great time so I understand the revenue from that event far exceeds the Sunfest event but the charm of the resort town is losing its value as a family destination. These two events, Oceans Calling and Country Calling are adult events. I’m sure with a little shift of dates you can see why having Sunfest earlier would benefit the town not necessarily in profit but in keeping the resort town family friendly. Please consider this. I want to thank the planners for their hard work.

  2. I would also say it is disappointing the festival is so late now. The beach is just not as much fun in October and last year the weather was.not as nice.

  3. Was a terrible decision to move Sunfest to this time of year! Money always talks when Ocean Calling was in the mix & was was signed & sealed years ago! Sad for the older boomers, etc & those who would like to enjoy the beach before the lifeguards are off duty. I don’t think I’ll be returning to your city after 20 some years. Sad! Prices everywhere this Sept wee outrageous!
