Sahara Motel Ocean Front

I came to Sahara 8/10/26 . Initial 1st impression upon entering th room,it was dark n outdated looking . Checking th BR., I found NO toilet paper in site ; in fact, one side of th toilet paper HOLDER was missing altogether ! In th room, there was a phone on th wall with NO CORD ... attached to NOTHING ! Like th Twilight Zone ... th front of th fridge AND th microwave was dirty n streaked . I found during my stay that daily maid service was VERY limited ! I thought that ended when Covid did !. After checking out, I realized I had left several clothing iitems,a pillow,n a throw . After getting home, I tried (numerous times !) one morning to call th office, with th phone never being answered (n no voice mail) ! When I FINALLY got an answer, to inquire about my items, th lady tod me to call back in an hour, so she could check with housekeeping ... I TRIED to ask if she could call ME, since I had so much trouble getting thru ,well she cut me off saying "No",n hung up ! Very unprofessional, bordering on rude . When I called again,a man answered ,n said nothing was found . I am 73, n hav been coming to OC. all of my adult life. And all motels generally hav SOME kind of procedure pertaining to lost n left items . Very unsatisfied; Ive sent a handwritten letter of complaint to th management of this establishment . Its been several weeks, n as of this point, Ive had no response.
