FREE Originals Only: No Covers, Just Creators Event set for Sept. 19, 6–8 p.m. at The Art League of Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, MD — September 15, 2026 — The Art League of Ocean City invites the community to “Originals Only: No Covers, Just Creators,” a free evening celebrating authentic, original creative expression on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 6–8 p.m.

Held at the Art League of Ocean City, the event brings together poets, comedians, musicians, writers, and performers for an evening devoted entirely to original work. No covers, no routines—just fresh, personal, and unfiltered creative expression.

The evening will feature a diverse lineup of performers:

Unusual Suspects — This original music duo, based in the Washington, D.C., area, brings together two veteran performers whose musical backgrounds span a variety of popular music genres.

Sherri Bale — A talented writer of fiction and essays, Bale will share original stories that celebrate the power of the written word and the art of storytelling.

Thayer Brothers — Three songwriters come together as one group to perform original songs ranging from melancholy reflections to celebrations of life’s brighter moments. Their music features guitar, harp, rich harmonies, and award-winning songwriting.

Bouzouki Americana — Blending rock, country, and pop, Bouzouki Americana performs original songs on the Irish bouzouki, an eight-stringed instrument in the mandolin family. With heartfelt performances and thoughtful lyrics, the group offers a distinctive musical perspective on life, love, and the Eastern Shore.

“Originals Only” provides a welcoming stage for creators to share work drawn from their own experiences, imaginations, and unique voices. Audiences can expect an eclectic, inspiring evening of one-of-a-kind performances.
