Ocean City is a fantastic place to spend Labor Day Weekend and give summer one last proper send-off! Summer attractions, rides, restaurants, and activities are still going strong, and this year, the weather looks like it’s ready to cooperate, too.
It could be your last chance of the season to stretch out on the sand, dip your toes in the ocean, or watch the kids catch a few waves on their boogie boards. And when you’re ready to leave the beach, there’s still plenty happening around town. Even better, several Ocean City hotels are offering special Labor Day Weekend deals, giving you another great reason to stay a little longer!

Hit the beach and Boardwalk. Labor Day Weekend is still very much summer in Ocean City. Spend the day at Ocean City Beach, stroll Ocean City Boardwalk, grab some fries, play the arcades, and squeeze in those last summer traditions.
First Friday Block Party — Friday, Sept. 4, 5–7 p.m. The Art League of Ocean City kicks off the weekend with a free celebration at the Ocean City Center for the Arts. Expect live music, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, new exhibitions, artists and instructors, and family-friendly activities.
Drone Show: Join us on the beach at Dorchester Street on Saturday, September 5th for a drone show! The fun begins at 9:30pm.
Fishing & Water Sports: There’s still plenty of summer fun to be had on the water! Rent a boat, hop on a jet ski, or spend the day fishing. Try Odyssea Watersports or Bayside Boat Rentals for boat and jet ski rentals, or head out with Saltwater Adventures or the Angler Deep See Fishing Boat for a fun, family-friendly fishing trip with everything you need provided. Prefer to sit back and enjoy the ride? Take a cruise around the bay, toward Assateague Island, or out into the ocean. The Angler, the Sea Rocket and Seacrets Cruises are three great options for seeing Ocean City from the water.
Play a Round of Mini Golf: Is it really an Ocean City vacation without at least one game of mini golf? It’s one of those classic summer traditions that never gets old! Challenge the family to a round at Nick’s Mini Golf or Old Pro Golf. With multiple locations around town, you’re never far from your next hole-in-one.
Get up high with a MyFlight helicopter flight, or go parasailing with Island Parasail.
Race each other on the the go karts: Try Baja Amusements, Grand Prix Amusements or Pro Track, all in West Ocean City.
Trapped Escape Room: if the weather's not great, or you need a break from the beach, Trapped will challenge your brain, and bond you as a group! There's three locations now, 118th, 80th and 137th Street.
Dining: Come hungry! Ocean City’s huge selection of restaurants and bars will be serving up plenty of delicious options all Labor Day Weekend, along with live music and happy hour specials. It’s the perfect time to grab some fresh seafood, enjoy dinner outside, and toast to one more summer weekend at the beach.
Live entertainment this Labor Day Weekend :

This weekend's line up at Seacrets.
