4th of July Fireworks in Ocean City and the Surrounding Delmarva 2024

In beach towns, fireworks create a mesmerizing spectacle that blends the vibrant energy of seaside festivities with the explosive beauty of pyrotechnics against the night sky. As dusk settles over the sandy shores, families and friends gather along the coastline, eagerly awaiting the commencement of the dazzling display.  Here is a list of places to enjoy 4th of July celebratory fireworks in Ocean City and the surrounding Delmarva.

July 3rd

Berlin- Heron Park This award winning town for Best Kept Secret on Maryland’s Eastern Shore is exactly that! Celebrate with fireworks in “America’s Coolest Small Town.”

July 4th

Ocean City, Maryland

Ocean City, Maryland- Division Street, 9:30pm OC Boardwalk Arch at North Division Street. Bring your own blankets and chairs to snuggle up on while relaxing to the sounds of the ocean waves. Be sure to grab a snack from the boardwalk to savor while enjoying the spectacular show. Note: No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the beach or boardwalk. Ocean City, Maryland- Northside Park, 9:30pm Take a stroll around Northside Park before the fireworks. Bring blankets and chairs to claim your spot on the lawn as Ocean City’s Northside Park shows off their claim to fame this 4th of July. Bags of snacks and drinks are encouraged. Note: No alcoholic beverages are allowed. Ocean Pines- Veterans Memorial Park Family Friendly and ready to celebrate, Ocean Pines takes fireworks to a whole other level. Grab yourself a snowball from The Snowball Stand and head on over to see a spectacular show! Bethany Beach- near the bandstand Dress up in your red, white, blue to celebrate 4th of July right on the beach. Come early as parking is limited. Stop by for some ice cream before you claim your space on the sand. Salisbury, Maryland James M. Bennett High School, 9:15pm If you want a change from beach fireworks, take a 30 minute trip outside to Salisbury for a celebration.  Chincoteague, Virginia Main Street , 10pm In the quaint town of Chincoteague, Virginia, you are sure to see a grand fireworks display. Take a day trip or stay overnight for shopping, food, or just a change of scenery. 

July 5th

Snow Hill, Maryland Sturgis Park, 9pm A short drive outside of Ocean City, Snow Hill is definitely a place to celebrate our nation’s independence. 

July 6th

Rehoboth Beach, Delaware Rehoboth Avenue and the beach, 9:30pm Great food and great fireworks! Watch fireworks two times this year and come on down to Rehoboth Beach on July 6th. A fabulous time will be had by all!
