EAGLES AND OTTERS

The amount of life on the creek these past few weeks has me longing for spring and many hours out on the water.  Over the past few years we have regularly spotted bald eagles soaring over Ayers and Trappe creeks.  No matter how many times I see them it is always a thrill, especially when you see them diving in for a fish or an eel.

SPRING FORWARD

I bring out the children and grandchildren and they bring out the child in me, No matter what weather March bestows on us there is always an activity that will keep us happy, Put on a slicker and grab a bucket and go in search of treasures from the sea. Remember to gift something back to the sea so future generations will enjoy the same treasure hunts we did growing up. Don't foget the St. Patricks Day Indoor Soccer Tournament with teams traveling from DelMarVa and beyond to win 1st place but also to have fun!!!

SPRING IS COMING TO OCEAN CITY, MD

Today, like most others, I decided to get up early and head to the Ocean City Inlet to see what I could see.  When I stepped outside my house in Berlin, the air definitely was cold, but it had the feeling of Spring.  The sun is coming up earlier and the red sky this morning, didn't give me warning, but made me think that St.
