Think twice before visiting ocean city Maryland. The beaches are extremely dirty, the crabs are of poor quality, most of the hotels are run down filthy & nasty, and the police are always looking to ticket tourists to pull in revenue. I literally saw five cop cars back to back ticketing people. Also, the crime rate is high, especially vehicle break-ins. If you think you will have a peaceful nights sleep, think again, honking horns throughout all hours of the night, even if you are not near the boardwalk. Ocean city is a joke not a real vacation destination spot to take...
As most on this forum know, we camp at Assateague State Park when were down for our family vacation. Occasionally we make a trip off season and stay in Ocean City. This recent trip, my wife and I stayed at a small place called The Buckingham Hotel. This hotel was located on Baltimore and 15th street once block from the Boardwalk. It was a very nice Little place and they went out of their way to ensure our trip went well. I found the room on Ocean City. Com for only $49. The hotel is a throwback to older times but they Did a real nice job updating the...

Went to put my clean linens on the beds, and the one bed had a blood stained sheet from the previous renters, contacted the owner upon discovering the sheet, left message for a return call but to no...
