Town of Ocean City’s Message on Hurricane Irene

 

A message from the Town Of Ocean City Office of Emergency Management…

Ocean City is monitoring Hurricane Irene. There are currently no watches or warnings issued for our area. Emergency management personnel will provide updates on the weather forecast as more information becomes available for our area.

Visitors traveling to Ocean City are advised to stay tuned to weather forecasts and to keep an eye on the weather for their actual travel time so that they may arrive to their destination safely.

Residents and visitors should begin preparations by securing loose objects such as trash cans, lawn furniture, etc.

Weather updates will be posted on the Town’s website, www.oceancitymd.gov, the Emergency Services recorded information line at 410-723-6666 or tune into 1670 AM.
