Tonight: A Night for Bill Rolig at Seacrets

If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally.  It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.

Bill_Deborah_Rolig_Ocean_City_MarylandSpread some love and positive thoughts to Bill Rolig and his family. Bill and Deborah Rolig are local Ocean City artists, parents, enthusiasts, and influential members of our arts community. In December, the family learned that Bill has prostate cancer.

The Rolig’s were told that Bill didn’t have just any regular cancer- it was invasive and aggressive. Because his cancer is not treatable by regular methods, Bill’s family, friends, and fans are raising money so he can get integrative treatment.

Tonight, Wednesday, April 7th Seacrets (49th Street) is sponsoring “A Night For Bill Rolig”. Doors open at 6pm. On stage you will find local bands supporting the Rolig family: Kaleb Brown & Brown Collective, Bryan Russo, The Electric Company, The Cheaters, Lower Class Blues, Rock Bottom, and Lower Class Citizens. Ryan Rolig, Bill and Deborah’s son, can be seem jamming on stage as the vocalist and guitarist in Lower Class Citizens.

Let’s raise some money for these friends of ours so Bill can get the medical treatment he needs! There will be a $10 entry fee/donation at the door, 50/50 raffle, food and drinks, and a silent auction featuring artwork from Bill and Deborah. Bill and his family hope that this event raises an awareness for prostate cancer and those effected by it.

Deborah-Rolig_Art_Ocean_City_MarylandIf you cannot make it to the event this evening, cash and check donations made to Bill Rolig may be mailed to: PO Box 825, Berlin, MD 21811.
