Here’s a look at the highlights from this weekend and beyond in Ocean City:

– Tonight, Friday, July 18, is the return of one of the most funky and unique events hosted in the area all summer. If you’ve never attended the Bathtub Races in America’s Coolest Small Town, then head to Berlin this evening to see businesses and people like you turn ordinary bathtubs into extraordinary works of art. This fun, yet competitive race takes place in downtown Berlin and is open to anyone who would like to participate. Winners receive a coveted trophy and year long bragging rights.

– Last month Lindy Promotions and Coors Light teamed up to bring you the widely popular Explore the Shore OCMD Scavenger Hunt. This Saturday, July 19, the pair is back at the beach leading hundreds of partiers on an 8 stop Boardwalk Bar Tour. With $2 Coors Lights, $3 Blue Moons, other drink specials, and a spectacular view, this is one bar crawl you don’t want to miss. The event will kick off at Shenanigan’s at 1pm and conclude at Cowboy Coast at 9pm. If you want to participate in the Ocean City Boardwalk Bar Tour, discounted tickets can be purchased online at www.lindypromo.com. Use promo code: OceanCity.com to save 20% on your tickets. Walk-up sales will be available the day of the event at Shenanigans from 1-4pm, but at a higher price than for those who preregister.

– Also this Satuday is your chance to drink great beer for an even better cause as Brew River Restaurant and Dock Bar in nearby Salisbury hosts its ‘Red White and Brew’ benefit for Coastal Hospice. The event, which runs from 4-8pm will raise funds for Coastal Kids Supportive Care. You ticket, which costs $40 in advance of $45 at the door, gets you an awesome Eastern Shore summer cookout, a complimentary logo pint glass, live entertainment, and beers from local breweries like Evolution, Fin City, Backshore, Union, and Heavy Seas.
