This week in OC: August 22-28, 2014

There many only be one week left until Labor Day, but Ocean City, Md is still operating in mid-summer form. With the conclusion of OC Sandfest, hundreds of Jeeps taking over town, and El Galeon still hanging around, there is no shortage of awesome activities at your disposal this week. Combine that with the fact that it’s still Hotel Week- and many hotels are offering up huge discounts- and you have no excuse not to head to the beach one more time!

Here’s a look at the highlights this week:

– As participants in the first-ever OC Sandfest, four professional sculptors have been on the beach between N. Division and 4th St. since Monday, working from 9am-6pm to build signature sand sculptures and entertain the masses in the process. Sandfest takes winds down this weekend, but the amazing artwork will be on display on the beach through September 1.
