Even though the weather has chilled a bit in Ocean City, MD this week, there are still plenty of things to do if you come for a visit.
If you enjoy miniature golf, you can always try Old Pro Golf. Did you know that Old Pro has two INDOOR miniature golf courses in Ocean City? On 68th Street you can enjoy and Undersea Adventure and on 136th Street there is a Rainforest theme. Both locations also have an arcade for additional fun. They are both open on the weekends and one location is also open during the week. Since they alternate which course is open during the weekdays, it is best to call or check their website to see which location is open.
Many people visit Ocean City and do not realize there is a movie theater right uptown. Fox Sun and Surf 8 Cinema is located on 142nd Street on the bayside. While you are at the beach relaxing, wouldn’t it be nice to go see a movie? Call or check their website for movies titles and show times.
If you enjoy shopping, whether it be buying or just browsing, there are plenty of places for shopping in Ocean City as well. The Ocean City Factory Outlets are located right across the route 50 bridge in West Ocean City. Here you will find favorites like Calvin Klein, Children’s Place, Dress Barn, Gap and more! The Gold Coast Mall is located on 115th Street Bayside in Ocean City. You will find specialty stores like the Donald’s Duck Shop and Indian River Trading Company as well as many other stores and eateries.
If you have not been to historic Berlin, Maryland, now is an excellent time to visit. Here you will find a plethora of things to look at from antique shops to art galleries. You will also find great things to eat and drink in Berlin. For your main course, you could enjoy the Globe, Rayne’s Reef or the Atlantic Hotel and for dessert the Baked Dessert Cafe is serving up some delectable selections. In case you didn’t know, Berlin was where a portion of the Runaway Bride was filmed. See if you recognize any of the streets and buildings.
