Spring is in the air, encouraging people to get out and enjoy life. If you’re the type who likes music and dancing with your dose of life, head to Seacrets! This Friday, they offer you Joe Bachman & Crew, a high-energy rock band. This group plays at 10 p.m. on Friday. The next day, Joe and his crew return to the stage at the same time. Also on Saturday, Second Majesty plays at 9 p.m. Earlier in the day, Jim Long Band  occupies the stage at 5 p.m. If the day time works better for you, Seacrets has events to enjoy then, too. First up, DJ BK is there from noon to 5 p.m. Next, Back 2 Life offers harmonies and upbeat lyrics to danceable songs at 1 p.m. Later, Jon Maurer Band gives powerful lyrics set to intense acoustics at 5 p.m. Check out www.seacrets.com for additional information.

Monday, March 12, Bryan Clark comes to the stage with classic music at 5 p.m. Friday, March 16, Fager’s has two enthusiastic groups: Tranzfusion at 9:30 on stage and DJ Hook on deck at 9 p.m. Saturday, Animal House comes to the nightlife scene at 10 p.m. inside, Opposite Directions plays at 2 p.m. and DJ Groove plays at 9 p.m. on deck. Every Irishman’s favorite holiday is fast-approaching! For those of you who don’t know, I’m talking about St. Patrick’s Day, and it just so happens that Ocean City is getting in on the fun. This weekend, Ocean City has three events to help you get into the shamrock spirit. First, Sham Jam, an event full of food, drinks, and socialization. This event takes place Friday, March 16, at 5 p.m. on Wicomico Street & Baltimore Avenue. There are free tee shirts, raffles, and live entertainment to enjoy. Part of the portions even go to charity. The next Irish event Ocean City has planned is a parade. What would St. Patty’s Day be without a parade? This annual event features parade participants like law enforcement, marching bands, floats, and plenty of other groups. There is entertainment, food, and drinks available afterward.
