That’s right, it’s time again for incredible musicians, lots of food, craft vendors, and time with friends at Sunfest. Along with Sunfest, there is a kite show, other live entertainment, and a fiddler’s convention all happening near you! Get out and do!

The OC Cruzers Car Show continues this week, and this time around, there’s live music by Tommy Edward. Check out old cars, listen to the Rod Stewart tribute group, and chat with friends. The show runs from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. and is absolutely free.

One of Ocean City’s most treasured events–Sunfest–is finally here! This arts & crafts/music/food & drinks show runs from Thursday to Sunday, with hours of operation on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and hours of operation on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free, giving guests the opportunity to purchase unique crafts, smoothies, and more at this true Ocean City celebration. Entertainment scheduled for Thursday is by Sha Na Na; Friday, Lonestar performs; and Saturday, Bret Michaels rocks. These headline acts are by no means the only ones–each day is filled to the brim with live music. Thursday through Sunday of this week also see the Sunfest Kite Festival, where kids can learn how to make kites and have kite battles. Fancy the sounds of a good old fashioned fiddle? Attend the Berlin Fiddlers Convention this Friday through Sunday and please your ears! Friday offers a free concert from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday hosts an acoustic round of fiddling, while Sunday features a bluegrass gospel show. Naturally, food, drinks, and arts will be available for purchase. This musical festival takes place on Main Street in Berlin. Call 410-641-4775 to inquire further.

Are you (or your kids) always on a quest to find something valuable? Participate in the Park Place Jewelers treasure hunt this Saturday and Sunday on the beach at 3rd Street. The hunt is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m on Sunday. Registration is required. Call 410-279-6500 with questions.

Moving on to the music scene, Seacrets, Fager’s, and BJ’s keep the town rocking this week! At Seacrets on Thursday, DJ Tuff is scheduled to perform at 10 p.m. Friday, The Benderz perform at 10, along with Verdict at 9, DJ Mike-T at 9, Jim Long Band at 5, DJ Tuff at 10, and DJ Davie at 10 p.m. Saturday, dance along to Gypsy Wisdom at 10, Verdict at 9, DJ Mike-T at 9, Jim Long Band at 5, DJ Tuff at 10, and DJ Davie at 10 p.m. Sunday, Jim Long Band entertains at 5 p.m. Seacrets’ website, www.seacrets.com, can provide more information.
