Things to do in Ocean City, Maryland January 15-22

This week, OC residents and visitors must give a big thank you to the restaurants and businesses that stay open during the winter. Without Fager’s, Harborside, The Greene Turtle, Atlantic House Bed & Breakfast, and The Carousel, winter wouldn’t be nearly as entertaining as summer. What’s even better about these businesses is that they all offer great deals this week, live entertainment, and fun to beat the bleakness of winter. So whether you want to stay, eat, dance, or just relax, this week’s events in Ocean City can accommodate you.

Ocean City Hotels

Need to escape the mundane? Wish someone would prepare a hot, delightful breakfast for you? If so, look into Atlantic House Bed & Breakfast. The bed & breakfast is lovely, but is made even more enticing by the 20% deal the business is running through the end of January. The promotion offers 20% one night’s stay, but still ensures plush beds, comfortable rooms, and a nice breakfast. There are ocean views too! Head to atlantichouse.com for pictures and contact information.

Since it is winter, why not get in the spirit and go ice skating? The Carousel, one of Ocean City’s hotels, is open year-round to stay and skate. Saturday and Sunday, the rink opens at 10 a.m. and costs non-hotel guests $5, which is pretty inexpensive for something that’s fun and gets a good burn going in your legs. Need more info?
