Things To Do In Annapolis This Week

If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally.  It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.

There is plenty to do in and around Annapolis this week.  Get started by going to the Anne Arundel County Fair which starts on the 16th.  Here you will find farm animals, tractor pulls, games, contests and more.  The fair is taking place from the 16th to the 20th.

Join Dr. Joan M. Gaither as she returns to the Banneker-Douglass Museum for a Story Quilting Workshop.    Visit Dr. Gaither on Saturday September 19th from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Banneker-Douglass Museum located on Franklin Street in Annapolis.

You don’t want to miss the Renassiance Festival which is taking place weekends from now until mid October.  This is the second largest Renassiance Festival in the Country!  There will be fun and activities for both adults and children!  The festival takes place from 10am to 7pm each Saturday and Sunday thru October 18th!  Don’t miss it!
