Snowmageddon?

I think not, however I did get your attention. Since going outside is an option I chose not to act on, I did the next best thing. Ocean City, MD. Boardwalk Cams. Nothing but snow as far as the cameras eye can see, but if you watch long enough your mind will drift back to Summer Days walking Ocean City’s Boardwalk. I see children dragging their parents towards Dumsers Ice Cream Stand and the long line waiting for a Bucket of Thrashers French Fries. A little farther south I see parents coaxing, even bribing children to ride through Trimper’s Haunted House. At the extreme south end is the Ocean City Inlet where you can watch boats of all sizes expertly work their way through the rough tidal waters on there way to or from a day of angling in the White Marlin Capital of The World. Ocean City’s waters are teeming with a variety of fish such as; Flounder, Sea Bass, Whiting, Rockfish, Tautog and an abundance that will keep your lines taut and your muscles working. A dip in the Atlantic is always a refreshing way to cool down in the heat of an Ocean City Summer. Alas, my mind has returned to the present and now I must shovel a path from my driveway to my buried car. Come on Summer. Beachfront Hotel Rooms, swimming pools, water parks. It’s not a dream, so start thinking about Ocean City and make those reservations now. What, you have something better to do?

  1. I have between 3 and 4 FEET of snow in my yard right now. Snowmageddon?  Sounds about right. This is just awful. And we’re under another winter storm warning. I’m just counting the days till it all goes away and am on my way to OC.

    Come on spring!!
