Come out to the 2nd Annual Shell Shocked event at Fager’s Island! This great event takes place on Saturday, November 6th. The party starts at 1 pm and continues ‘til 5 pm. Check out Opposite Directions and Friends, one of Ocean City’s favorite bands, as they perform live on the Fager’s deck.
Shell Shocked includes all you can eat oysters; raw, steamed, fried, and featuring special oyster creations from local guest chefs. The menu also includes BBQ ribs and chicken. Enjoy unlimited Evolution Brewery Beers. Evo beer is locally brewed on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. 5 different craft beer selections will be available.
Sandi Smith, a representative of the Maryland Coastal Bays Program will be at the event showing some local Maryland oysters. The Coastal Bays Program is a partnership among the towns of Ocean City and Berlin, National Park Service, Worcester County, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Maryland Departments of Natural Resources, Agriculture, Environment, and Planning, which have come together to produce the first ever management plan for the coastal bays.
Fager’s Island is an award-winning popular restaurant located on 60th Street in the bay in Ocean City. This restaurant features impeccably prepared fresh fish, seafood, and prime rib. A menu will be available during the event for those who wish to dine on something other than the advertised menu.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door on Saturday. Get a great oyster dinner, a free pint glass, and a sampling of Evolution beers while you enjoy a nice day at Fager’s Island!
