We got lots of good news in Ocean City this week, beginning with the final go ahead to rebuild St. Paul’s By the Sea Episcopal Church. As you can see by the television coverage below, although the church knew it would have to go on, actually making the decision was fraught with difficult emotions. There was a question about whether the new building could retain the integrity of the historic one.
St. Pat’s on Television
A new local television station has committed to broadcasting the Ocean City St. Patrick’s Day parade. Hopefully this will be a new tradition so people out of town can check in on this cornerstone Ocean City event.
They always have done great work at the Worcester County Humane Society, so it is nice to see them recognized.
Arts and Entertainment
The Art League of Ocean City always is a safe bet for going to a cool event. If you’re in town for the weekend, this is one of the many good reasons to extend your stay.
Here’s another great reason to stay over for a couple of days past the weekend.
