The 1st day of Spring is hours away. My weekend is planned out and it’s All Good. I am at this moment starting my indoor seed trays of tomatoes and peppers. Then it’s out to till soil for my lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, etc. Next I will be potting Pansies for the porches and walkways. Family is on it’s way from Baltimore for St. Patricks Soccer Tournament at Ocean Citys Northside Park after dinner at my house. More gardening Saturday with help from grandchildren. Ah, Sunday!!! Luau at Seacrets from 1 to 5 P.M. Hula Dancers, Fire Dancers, DJ and Live Music along with Hawaiian Food and Auctions all for $25.00 a couple in advance, children under 12 free, and $15.00 at the door, all to support Maryland Coastal Bays and the Ocean City Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. Please be there. Aloha.
If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally. It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.
