Ocean City

OC’s largest park

If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally.  It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.

If you’re looking to get in a good workout while the kids play, check out Northside Park. This is a great place to exercise without having to pay for the gym. Located on 125th street and the bay, it is Ocean City’s largest and most popular park facility.
The perimeter of the park is outlined by a path that is perfect for walking, jogging, biking, or rollerblading. There are baseball/softball fields, a soccer field, and a multipurpose field perfect for the kids to pass the lacrosse ball and run around. Also, for the little kids there is a playground available.
This facility is not only a great place to workout, but it is somewhere to come relax and go fishing. There is a dock that has a beautiful view of the bay and fishing lagoons all within the park. The town of Ocean City, Maryland is proud of their recreation and parks department because of the great facilities they offer such as the Northside Park.
