OceanCity.com Launches New Site Design with New Loyalty Program and Great Rewards

If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally.  It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.

NEW SITE WITH NEW FEATURES

OceanCity.com launched a new design in late December 2009.  We are striving to be the best site anywhere that will help you plan and execute the perfect vacation in one of the East Coast’s best beach resorts.  We created a trip planner section that can help you find your way to Ocean City, navigate throughout the town, choose among the many hotels, motels, and condos, and find that perfect place to eat.  We have writers to post articles that will help you plan your trip.  We have a new blogger who will brighten your day with a little humor and give an insider’s perspective into all that is Ocean City.  We have a newly redesigned forum where an active community answers your questions, argues their perspectives about any and every issue in Ocean City.  You can hear why people like Fresco’s and why others prefer Ristoranti Antipasti.  You can find out where the best french fries are on the Boardwalk and the best places to go for a date.  You can add your perspectives too.

We have a new "Where to Stay" page that gives you all the information you need to plan and execute your perfect vacation.  We have a robust hotel reviews section written by other OceanCity.com customers who have used our online reservations system to book their rooms.  In fact, we have more current Ocean City hotel reviews than any other site out there.  We have a hotel guide that lists the many hotel and motel options and lets you research your options.  We have a secure, state-of-the-art online reservations system where you can make reservations at most of the hotels in town.  We have some of the best hotel specials and packages in Ocean City that will help you save money and we give you the ability to sort your search results in many different ways.  You can search the star ratings, rank hotel results based on reviews written by other Ocean City travelers, sort your results by price, and much more.

The Shark on the Harbor, Ocean City’s "greenest" restaurant featuring fabulous seafood and a view of Assateague and the working harbor;

The Captain’s Table inside the new Courtyard by Marriott featuring fine dining as well as year round access to breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The Captain’s Table is a locals’ favorite and has one of the best kids’ menus in Town.  And,

The Drummer’s Cafe, a newly renovated restaurant inside the Atlantic Hotel in historic downtown Berlin, Maryland.  Berlin is just minutes away from Ocean City and is the site of the filming of "Runaway Bride" and "Tuck Everlasting."  The restaurant is run by Ocean City’s popular Fager’s Island team and is certainly worth the trip.

More options will be added frequently, so keep checking OceanCity.com/sanddollars to redeem your Sand Dollars or to learn of new prize options.
