St Patrick’s Day Parade in Ocean City
As the unofficial kickoff for the spring season, the St. Patricks Day Parade is one of the most anticipated events of the winter. Yes because of the party atmosphere, whiskey and beer but also because it represents the light at the end of the tunnel. Even people who can’t make it down for the weekend are happy in the knowledge that Springfest isn’t far behind.

As sure as the robins have come, it is time for the bridge to get a checkup. Although it might be a little inconvenient in the middle of the week, with any luck it will reduce closures as the summer progresses.

Jolly Roger opens
This was a nice surprise and it looks as if it’s going to be a great weekend for it. Of course after last year’s rainout people are a little worried, but it looks as if Mother nature has our back on this one.
Big News! For the first time ever, Speedworld and Mini golf will be open for St. Patricks day Parade Weekend at Jolly Roger Amusement Park on 30th St! Open this Saturday and Sunday- weather permitting.

It’s 2nd Friday and Student Arts night in Berlin
If you get the chance this evening, swing by any of the Berlin shops and see some of the great art the students have done for the annual student art show. Participating local businesses will be featuring student art as part of the regular celebration. The centerpiece of this month’s event, though will be the unveiling of a mural composed in partnership with Buckingham Elementary School.
