Ocean City crash still under investigation

(Oct. 17, 2014) A 48-year-old man driving a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro lost control and flipped his car over several times Sunday morning around 32 Street and Philadelphia Avenue.

Exactly how the accident occurred is what the police are still trying to determine.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and the driver was not charged. Police will not release the name of the driver or any other information, saying the case remains under investigation.

 “There were many bystanders on the scene when police arrived. We are hopeful someone took a cell phone picture of what happened. Collecting more evidence and witness accounts are our main priority in piecing this story together,” said OCPD Lt. Scott Harner.

The driver of a Camaro severely damaged and flipped his car over several times on Sunday, October 12 in Ocean City. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
