The OC Air Show has become a tradition in our coastal community. People from all over the United States travel to Ocean City for this event. Heidi Harriger-Hause from Greenville, PA says, “I can’t wait for this show! We have been coming to them since they started! Love it.” The Air Show has been drawing fans to Ocean City for the past 3 years.
“This will be my very first air show,” says Lenny Cox of Douglassville, PA, “I’m really looking forward to it!” Many others are looking forward to the OC Air Show, too. This years Air Show will take place on Saturday, June 5th and Sunday, June 6th.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds carry the show. The 2010 Thunderbirds are military jet pilots that will be demonstrating drills, showing parachute teams, and will have civilian aerobatic performers in the sky’s of Ocean City. Everyone looks forward to the formation flying teams that soar over our beaches.
The military aircraft demonstrations take place along the beaches in Southern Ocean City from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The coordinators say that the best spot to view the show is from the beach at 16th Street. If you can’t be at the central viewing spot, no worries. The Air Show is visible along most of Ocean City’s beaches.
The U.S. Navy Seals Leap Frogs will be performing on Saturday night. The Seals will be jumping out of planes with parachutes covered in lights and landing on the beach to hang out with their fans on the shore.
The OC Air Show is an event that should not be missed! You, your friends, your family, and your children will love the Air Show. Plan to be in Ocean City the weekend of June 5th and 6th.
