Over at Chesapeake Bay Brewery, they are brewing up their newest beer. One of the things it is easy to forget is that nearly every craft brewery on the Eastern Shore is always experimenting with new beers and flavor combinations. It’s something of which we’re particularly proud, and the best reason to make sure you walk in to as many local breweries as possible. Another reason is the Shore Craft Beer challenges, which reward people who are beer explorers.
In addition to Shore Craft Beer many if not most of the breweries in the region have some sort of secret society that encourages and rewards patronage. Growler fills for xmas
We’ve been noticing twitter activity that reminded us there are plenty of other ways to celebrate local beer, like shopping up at a party with an exclusive (or popular) growler. The guys at Backshore Brewing Company on the boardwalk, have been doing lots of fun stuff over the winter. Swinging by and grabbing a growler there gives you the added benefit of maybe getting a little sand in your shoes before returning to regular life.

Beer by the can
Another ay to show up at holiday parties is with a six pack in each hand. RaR, 3rd Wave, and Burley Oak all were hard at their canning projects this week. They’re also gearing up for the New Year. 2016 is going to be a banner year for Shore Craft Beer as well as the breweries it helps support, so consider swinging over to the website and subscribing. There are a ton of cool things in the works. Meanwhile, have a very Merry Christmas!
