With Memorial Day behind us the summer season is in full swing in Ocean City, Md. If you weren’t among the hundreds of thousands who joined us for the holiday weekend, we hope to see you on the beach and boards this week. Here are some of the highlights of things to do from around town:
– Each spring, before the team heads to OTAs and training camp, the Baltimore Ravens flock to Ocean City for the annual Ravens Beach Bash celebration. Events are already underway and last all weekend at the Clarion and other spots around town. One of the most anticipated events is Saturday’s Ravens Roost Parade along the Boardwalk. The parade kicks off at 10am on 19th St. and will travel down the boards to 26th honoring Ravens Roost members from MD, DE, and PA.
– The Ravens aren’t the only ones taking over the beach this weekend, as graduates from around the mid-Atlantic are embarking on Ocean City for the annual rites of passage known as Senior Week. In order to help the Class of 2015 have a memorable and safe beach week, Play it Safe is hosting numerous FREE events throughout the week. Check out all the options here.
– Speaking of free events, the widely popular OC Beach Lights are back for another summer. Head down to the Boardwalk Sunday night for a mesmerizing laser light show. With shows at 9, 9:30, and 10, the OC Beach Lights are something you do not want to miss.
