Longtime Ocean City favorite, Anthony’s Beer, Wine & Deli, has been dishing out cold beer, fine wine, and high-quality deli sandwiches to locals and visitors for over 35 years, but they are gearing up for the 2015 season with new additions and a brand new name: Anthony’s Liquors.
Located on the corner of Coastal Highway and 33rd St, this family owned and operated establishment has undergone major expansions in the past- most notably in 1987 when the deli was transformed from a walk-up counter to the full-service eatery it is today. Anthony’s just expanded again, just in time for the 2015 season.
Anthony’s Liquor is keeping the tradition of expansion alive with it’s brand new bar area and spirits selections. Anthony’s new bar features 25 seats, a limited menu from Anthony’s famous deli, 8 rotating taps with locally brewed craft beer, an impressive wine list, and a corkage option that allows you to enjoy any wine you find in the store with your meal as well.
Although Anthony’s Liquor already offers a plethora of products to patrons, the management team has wanted to add off-sale liquor the list for a while. Luckily for Anthony’s, and you the customer, the upgraded liquor license required to operate the new bar also allows the sale of liquor to go, giving Anthony’s a distinct advantage over other stores just able to sell beer and wine. This means that in 2015 Anthony’s Liquor will offer more ways to help you maximize the fun during your next vacation, special occasion, or weekend get together than ever before.
