This week in OC: January 9-15, 2015

January is typically a slow time in Ocean City, MD, but it’s still beautiful and hotel rooms are cheaper, so why not plan an impromptu trip? Should you choose to do so, there is always some excitement to had in Ocean City!

Here’s a look at this week’s highlights:

– Do you like beer, beef, and supporting Wounded veterans? Of course you do and tonight you get the chance at the Beef and Beer fundraiser at the Ocean Pines Community Center. This annual event features an all-you-can-eat dinner with beer, a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, a live gift basket auction hosted by Bulldog from Ocean98, and guest speaker Major General James A. Adkins. The event runs from 5-9pm and tickets are $26 each with proceeds benefiting the Wounded Soldiers of Maryland.
