As we get ready to turn the calendar from February to March we rejoice in the fact there are only 86 days until Memorial Day. If you can’t wait that long for your next trip to Ocean City, Md, we have plenty in store this coming week!
Here are this week’s highlights:
– This weekend, the top cheerleaders from up and down the east coast will embark on Ocean City for the annual Reach the Beach Cheer event. Originating at the Convention Center, this yearly gathering lasts Friday-Sunday and is a qualifier for the national finals. Reach the Beach features an all beach themed cheer competition with beach music, decor, and more.
– One of Ocean City’s most iconic hotels turns 30 this weekend and you’re invited to celebrate! The Clarion will host it’s 30th anniversary party this Sunday, March 1. The party begins at 6pm and will feature a complimentary menu of mini crabcakes, seared scallops, roast beef and carved turkey, Maryland crab soup, Clams Casio, and much more. There will also be happy hour prices on drinks all night long and DJ Justin will be playing all your favorite dance tunes.
Finally, our annual Best of Ocean City® competition wraps up this weekend. Don’t miss your final chance to vote for your favorite restaurants, bars, and other businesses and help them receive the recognition they deserve. All businesses are eligible to win and the awarding of the title of Best of Ocean City® falls squarely on your shoulders.
