-This Saturday, February 7, bring your pets to Ocean City Center for the Arts on 94th St for ‘Pet Portrait Saturday’! Sara Timmons will be on hand taking classic photographs and Jim Rehak will be creating lovable caricatures of your furry friends. The event runs from 11am-4pm and costs vary depending on which type of portraits you choose, but a portion of proceeds will benefit the Worcester County Humane Society. – Also this Saturday is the annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser party at 28th Street Pit & Pub, hosted by Ravens Roost #58. The party runs from 6-11 and your ticket ($50 each//$80 per couple) includes an endless Cajun buffet, champagne and Hurricane fountains and draft beer. Skyla Burrell Blues Band, DJ CK, and a drag queen comedy show will provide the entertainment. A basket of cheer and 50/50 raffle will round out the experience and proceeds will benefit the Ravens Roost #58 charities. Stop by Pit & Pub for advance tickets.
