This week in OC: January 16-22, 2015

As January rolls on, Ocean City , MD has a weekend full of activities, expos and openings for your amusement and entertainment. Here’s a look at this week’s highlights from around town:

– The 41st Annual East Coast Fisherman’s and Aquaculture Trade Expo takes place this weekend at the Ocean City Convention Center. Taking place the 16-18, the event will feature seminars, food demos, product and gear displays, vendors and more. Admission costs $15 per day. Also this weekend at the Convention Center is the annual Nautical & Wildlife Art Festival. The show takes place from 10am-5pm daily and will offer a wide variety of handcrafted fine art by local and region artists. Visit www.ocshows.com or call 800-626-2326 for more info.

Finally, this weekend is the Grand Opening Celebration for the brand new Performing Arts Center. Doors to the ceremony open at 6:15 p.m. and performances by Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra and OC Start will follow the ribbon-cutting.
