Ocean City

This week in OC: July 17-23, 2015

If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally.  It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.

‘- Tonight, July 17, is the return of one of the most funky and unique events hosted in the area all summer. If you’ve never attended the Bathtub Races in America’s Coolest Small Town, then head to Berlin this evening to see businesses and people like you turn ordinary bathtubs into extraordinary works of art. This fun, yet competitive race takes place in downtown Berlin and is open to anyone who would like to participate. Winners receive a coveted trophy and year long bragging rights.
