If you’re looking to have a great 4th of July and you want to see spectacular fireworks at the beach, then keeping reading.
To start off the day you can head to Seacrets at 49th street on the bay side, it‘ll be packed!!!! You can listen to John McNutt, The Jim Long Band and Jon Maurer play live starting at one in the afternoon. Every year Seacrets puts on a great fireworks show starting after dark at around 9:30p.m.
If you’re looking for a great little out of the way spot where the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is one of a kind then head to Haborside Bar and Grille. It’s the home of the original orange crush, a locals’ favorite drink made with fresh orange juice and vodka. They’ll have live entertainment featuring Under the Outhouse from 2-6 p.m. and DJ Jeremy from 10p.m.- 2a.m.
Shenanigans Irish Pub and Grille located on the boardwalk at 4th street, is a great place to bring some friends to have a drink or sit outside. Malone and the Lads will be playing live all weekend beginning at 9:30 pm nightly. This is also a great place to park yourself and watch the fireworks.
The Town of Ocean City will offer the usual two places to be entertained and watch the fireworks; Northside Park (127th Street and Bayside ) and North Division Street. The Jamboree in the Park at Northside Park begins at 5 pm. The entertainment includes everything you would want for family fun: live music, food, games, and arts and crafts for the kids. Bring a blanket or chair and grab a spot in the park to have a great view of the fireworks which begin at 9:30 pm. Or you can go to North Division Street and the Boardwalk to see the great fireworks over the ocean, family fun begins at 8p.m. but the fireworks will start at 9:30p.m. You can get a great view from almost any downtown beach, so bring the family out and enjoy a memorable night.
Parking is limited throughout Ocean City, so you can take the bus to any location in Ocean City for just $2 all day and night. I recommend parking in the Park and Ride lot in West Ocean City. Leave all the hassles behind and be prepared to be wowed! And just fyi, if you miss the fireworks on the fourth, head to Snow Hill just down the road for the 5th of July firework celebration.
