The Wicomico Environmental Trust invites the public to join a festive Halloween Moonlight Paddle this Friday, October 29th. The paddling adventure will begin at 7 p.m. at the Pocomoke River Canoe Company in Snow Hill, MD and is expected to last until 9:30 p.m.
Ghosts, goblins, witches, and other costumed creatures are welcome! Dress for the weather and bring your own flashlight, personal floatation device, boat, paddle, and any other items you may need. If you do not have a boat, contact the Pocomoke River Canoe Company in advance by calling 410-632-3971 to arrange your boat rental.
The Wicomico Environmental Trust envisions our county as a community that uses land wisely and protects water resources, native wildlife, and vegetation, in a way that enhances the quality of life on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore. WET endeavors to advocate for wise environmental stewardship by working with allied organizations, agencies of government, and responsible businesses to address issues of water and air pollution, appropriate land use planning, regulation and legislation, to the mutual betterment of the environment of the County.
Tickets for the Halloween Moonlight Paddle are $5 for students and members of the Wicomico Environmental Trust and $15 for others. Children 16 and younger are free. For more information, contact Sam Gibson at email@example.com.
