Sharpen your do-it-yourself sills at the Worcester Youth and Family Counseling Services center in Berlin, MD. A new series, focused on crafty kitchen skill to green your cleaning products, is beginning. Kim Fehrer and Debbi Colley will guide you on how you can make quick cleaning products using pantry ingredients you already have.
As you mix and swirl these household products together, you’ll learn why avoiding conventional cleaning products in the kitchen, and anywhere in the home, makes common sense. Your children, neighbors and environment will all appreciate your efforts.
This workshop takes place at the Worcester Youth and Family Counseling Services center (124 N. Main Street, Berlin, MD) on Thursday, July 21st, 2011. The program starts at 5 pm and will continue until 7 pm. The cost is $10 per person and includes class instruction, ingredients, bottles and containers for products, and a recipe booklet. Please bring rubber gloves, an apron, a notebook, and a cleaning caddy to this event to make things easier on yourself.
The Green Cleaning Products workshop is open to the community and sponsored by The Assateague Coastkeeper.
