WATER SKIING
I'm breaking down and buying a boat. In my younger and far lighter days I was a professional water skiier and want to pass this down to my kids. In the age of jet skiis I don;t see a whole lot of waterskieers anymore. Where is a good place to go skiing that doesn't require me to haul my boat out of water and travel. I live right on the bay. Please help, a family tradition relies on it!!

Assawoman Bay- To the right of the Route 90 bridge ( 2nd bridge heading out of town) and as bizzare as it was, I saw people water skiing in the ocean this year.

Re: WATER SKIING
I learned to ski on the bay in OC. We also used to ski in the ocean as well to show off
. Seems to me we used to ski by the convention center but I don't remember. It's been 35 years. You really need to know the area you're skiing in especially with the tides. I remember being pulled and my buddy ran aground and when I stopped, I was in like ankle deap water. I stopped and was just standing on the bottom of the bay. Have fun and be careful.
