FYI - the picts of the boardwalk torn up near the Ocean Gallery could easily be misinterpreted. That area of the BW was torn up before the storm as part of the boardwalk renovation project. My sense is that the BW suffered no meaningful damage from the storm.

OCMD was extremely lucky on this one. My parents were there during the storm around 100th street. They say that the bay side got it worse than the ocean side.
I think this summer is going to be extremely busy in OCMD, the rest of the seashore going north was pretty much obliterated.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A HIGH WIND WATCH, WHICH WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM THURSDAY FOR KENT, SUSSEX, QUEEN ANNE'S, TALBOT, AND CAROLINE COUNTIES. A COASTAL FLOOD WATCH WILL ALSO BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM THURSDAY FOR KENT, SUSSEX, WORCESTER, AND ACCOMACK COUNTIES. A SIGNIFICANT COASTAL STORM WILL BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY; STAY TUNED TO WBOC AND WBOC.COM FOR UPDATES.
